Tunbridge Wells

The Tunbridge Wells setting is located in our own building on London Road, Southborough. The property was purchased and completely renovated in 2014 to a very high standard.

We have three large playrooms, a garden and a large kitchen. Each playroom has a different range of activities. Playroom one offers a quiet area, with a large range of child accessible boxes to use and a home corner for role play. Playroom two is used for craft activities and board games and is also where we have our snack. Playroom three is a large indoor sports room, with a variety of indoor and outdoor equipment to use. The garden is accessible from playrooms two and three, so children have free-flow access throughout the setting.

Our TW setting is rated “OUTSTANDING IN ALL AREAS” from Ofsted in 2019. Harlequin continues to provide excellent, child-focused care in a safe and welcoming environment.

For child protection, our building has a secure front door that the children cannot open and CCTV covering play areas and outside areas, as well as a constant view of the front door and exits.

The open-plan play areas have a vast assortment of self-select games and crafts that the children can help themselves to. We arrange an activity every session aimed at developing children’s interest, skills and awareness of the world.

We have an enclosed outdoor space, large open-plan playroom with kitchen, craft & homework areas and a quiet zone.

We aim for a family atmosphere, promoting good manners, kindness and respect for one another and the club.
